菲律賓東星斑概況近日假澳洲Cairn舉辦之第12屆國際珊瑚研討座談會與會專家表示，菲律賓Palawan的食用活魚貿易活動在密集作業衝擊之下已不復往日熱絡，更引發珊瑚礁水域重要魚種大量外移。香港及中國大租屋陸市場向來是Palawan炙手可熱的東星斑（leopard coral trout grouper）最大集散地。然因北方水域活魚漁獲量銳減及魚體偏小，迫使漁民轉往遙遠的南方水域尋找更具經濟價值的魚種。然針對Palawan南方水酒店工作域Balabac島附近作業的1,000戶漁家進行調查後發現其漁獲量有變少的趨勢；去年每四名漁民中就有三位回報東星斑魚體過小及漁獲量降低。東星斑價格不錯時每公斤可賣至16-23美元，在特定地方更可能破60美借貸元，甚至於香港及中國大陸餐館能喊出200美元的天價。 （摘譯自INFOFISH Trade News, No. 14/2012， 1 August 2012）Once a thriving industry, the trade in live food fish from Palawan has 澎湖民宿declined due to intensive harvesting that present some species to repopulate the reefs, according to experts at the 12th International Coral Research Symposium held recently in Cairn 膠原蛋白Australia. Palawan used to be the main exporter of the most sought after leopard coral trout grouper mainly for Hong Kong and China markets. Due to declining catches live fish, 酒店工作fishermen are now seeking the prized species further south because of lower catch rates and smaller fish caught in the north. But even in southern Palawan, in the island town of 融資Balabac, a survey among 1,000 fishing households showed that many fishers have observed a decrease in their catch. Three out of four fishers interviewed reported smaller sizes and 酒店工作volume of the leopard coral grouper last year. Leopard coral grouper in good condition fetches a price between 700 pesos and 1,000 pesos (US$16 to 23)/kg and in some places, the price 591could shoot up to more than US$60/kg and can fetch up to US$200 in restaurants in Hong Kong and China.
